Profile
Matthew is a Lecturer in Professional and Educational Studies at the Australian Catholic University. In this role he coordinates the Year 3 and Year 4 Professional experience program for pre-graduate teachers as well as teaching across the areas of professional ethics and professional practice. Prior to commencing at the Australian Catholic University he worked at the NSW Police College as part of the School of Policing Studies, Charles Sturt University, in the area of professional ethics and standards as well as researching in the area of professional practice. Matthew is currently undertaking a PhD investigating police learning in the workplace and has research interests around ethics education, virtual world technologies as tools for teaching professional decision making and professional practice. Matthew is also a member of the National Executive of the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN).
