She is the programme manager for the Diploma in Technology (Science), which has a three week work experience component so has informally been involved in work-based learning for a number of years. Wintec has recently gained approval for a Bachelor in Technology that has a two-paper industry based project, hence the rejuvenated interest in Co-operative Education.
