Profile
Shiu is a lecturer at Unitec New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching (PGCT) from the University of the South Pacific, Diploma in Business Studies with endorsement in Information Systems from Massey University, Certificate in Higher Education and Post Graduate Diploma in Computing from Unitec New Zealand and is currently working on his dissertation for Master of Computing. Apart from his normal duties a lecturer, he is also a course coordinator for Business Computing course for the New Zealand Diploma in Business and Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Computing Systems (BCS). He has been supervising students on placement for the Industry Based Learning course for the Bachelor of Business (Information Systems major) since 2003. His research interests are in cooperative education and databases.
